Our 2017-2017 Band Banquet will by Thursday, May 10th at 6:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s of Heatherdowns Holy Family Center. Invites are coming out today in class. Cost per guest is TBD. We are trying something different, but expect similar to previous years. If you have any pictures from the year, please post them to our Shutterfly below.
Below are final calendar of events for band for the 2017-2018 school year:
- Tuesday, April 24 – Spring Concert @ 7 p.m. in the Sullivan Center (Concert Black, call is 6:15 p.m.)
- Thursday, April 26 – Booster Meeting @ 7 p.m. in the Band Room (planning for banquet and Fall)
- Monday, April 30th – Sunday, May 6 – Bye, Bye, Birdie at Valentine Theater
- Monday, May 1 – Toledo Symphony Day @ CCHS during school
- Thursday, May 10 – Band Banquet @ 6:30 p.m. St. Patrick’s of Heatherdowns
- Monday, May 21 – Graduation, @CCHS, TBD
- Wednesday, May 23 – Friday, May 25 – EXAMS
If anyone can bring cookies for tomorrow’s concert, please let me know. Also, Thursday will be this year’s final Booster meeting, and we will be planning the banquet for May.
We will move the Booster meeting from 4/11 to Thursday, April 19th at 7:00 p.m. I want to give students and families time to pack and time to relax before our trip.
Also, parents please help your students pack, a list is below. I’ve also attached the updated itinerary. Students are encouraged to get dropped off at school on Thursday, so they won’t have to leave their cars at school for the weekend. It’s almost time for our trip! We have just a few remaining details left to sort out. Attached above is the packing list, a medical form, and an authorization form that must be signed by a parent and returned before we leave. In addition, I’ve attached the itinerary, which has phone numbers, addresses, and times for our entire trip.
